Hello there, I have a spare class 50 bogie gear retaining clip which I am sure will fit the class 60 as I doubt they will make them different for all loco,s, I guess a standard fitting. My problem is class 60 complete bogies having bought 3 secondhand the bar joining the sideframes at the front was smashed I managed to get spare bogies but guess what, they had no sideframes and there is no part number on the service sheet, in that case said Hornby we can not help you!

Good luck with your new book Tony, I have both your 21/9 and 28 books could not put the 21/9 down, so much in their we had been trying to research for years, unfortunately I had hardly opened the Metrovick book when my wife took it for an Xmas present for me, any chance of any more books on Baby Deltics, Claytons ect all loco,s I sadly never got to see. In my view there is no evidence come to light anywhere that any Class 21/9 had a cab change, 6127 had been out of service years, there was two cabs there that could have been re-used, also I believe 6125 never ran again after serious cab damaged, again a spare cab available there but for some reason 6122 did get it,s cab repaired and one assumes that 6121/2 just swapped numbers.

I did ask about the class 21/9 at Warley but got the impression they will not be here this side of summer
