  7. Like yourself, alarm bells ring when I see AI generated twaddle, although I find it an interesting, if not cringeworthy, spectator sport! Unless I could see through the AI smokescreen, I wouldn't be buying either, I fear eBay is shooting itself in the foot somewhat with these improvements. Mike.
  8. If you are not constantly coupling and uncoupling at the loco end then I don't think it would be a problem, and anyway, Smiths hooks are huuuuge, so that will help. Also, if you use flexible pipes that should help alleviate any interference issues. Mike.

  11. I don't whether it was the same in your period depending on which facilities were still open, but in my 60's/70's era the 08 had already done Armytages scrapyard and Central Wagon works and would sometimes have wagons in tow, and would go on to do the Brampton branch. Mike.

  14. As to it's exact set up, I don't know, but I reckon it was used on occasions like one night when the incoming Brush 4 humped it's own train direct from the reception sidings, although it didn't go over the hump when finished. Mike.
