About Me
I'm 62 and have been interested in railways as long as I can remember. For the first 7 years, I lived right next to the Oldham, Ashton & Guidebridge line in Oldham - only a three bar wooden fence separating our garden from the railway!
Became involved in railway modelling in the 1970's when I joined the P4 Society - later being excommunicated for joining the embryonic Scalefour Society. Only ever modelled in P4 since a childhood train set. Have mainly built locos but harboured dreams of a layout - initially Knighton (on the Central Wales line) and more recently a scheme based on the branch terminus at Delph. This is now taking shape, as described on my RMweb blog. Hope to get it finished before I lose my faculties!!!
