  4. How long has the UK motorway network been virtually impassable due to congestion with traffic during the middle of a working day in August? Not even the usual day for going to or from your holiday! I gave up in disgust last Friday when driving from Devon to the Wirral, and left the awful M5 at Ashchurch, eventually trusting in the A49.

      Sadly a common occurance. We live on a rat run between J7 and J6 of M5 and can tell how bad the Mway is by looking out of the window.

  5. Great excitement in the "Little Black Country" over the Bank Holiday weekend. Bargain hunters, window shoppers and coffee shop customers promenading in Stourhampton town centre were treated to the sounds of a steam locomotive for the first time in 52 years as testing began in the north yard of the railway station. of

      You mean BMW plant. Minis were small cars designed by Alex Issigonis. They went out of production in 2001.
