  1. Good evening, Thank you, Going Underground. I finally completed the update earlier, thanks to your reply, my lass’s computer skill and a good You Tube guide! Paul.
  2. Good evening, Having done numerous previous updates, I’m really struggling with this one. I’m not savvy when it comes to computers, however I think a Microsoft update on my seldom used laptop has now made it necessary for an app to unzip the latest update. Could one of you kindly post a step by step idiot proof guide, please? Thank you. Paul.
  3. I had one of the limited edition models arrive last week. It has already been returned. As well as the sluggish and growly motor (even after a period of running in and wheel clean) and non-functioning cab lights, mine was also missing a number of the solebar pipe stubs/fins at each end. As they were not in the box I assume they were broken off in the factory. The attached photos even show one missing in the Hornby magazine review. Has anyone else had this issue? Needless to say with all the other faults/inaccuracies I have cancelled my other order and will be asking for a refund/credit for the returned one. There really is no excuse for a model as poor as this these days.
  4. I should have added, for the Class 104!
  5. Good morning. Do you have a date for liveried samples, please? Having received an email from Hattons this week advising of imminent price increases, I’d like to pre-order one (or more!) However, I would like to see the exact liveries beforehand if possible. Thank you.
  6. Good afternoon, As I've come down with covid again I've been catching up with some long overdue jobs. One has been to fit decoders to my two BR blue examples, 73124 and 73135. Would I be correct in assuming they're both version 1 releases? I'm pleased to have found this article, however the photos are not loading. Am I doing something wrong, here? Thank you. Paul.
  7. I’ve had an online chat with Rails. They suggested adding a value of 1 into CV66, which I’ve done. It has cured the jerkiness.
  8. Evening. I received 58072 for Christmas. However, I have only just fitted (I believe a DDCconcepts) Next 18 decoder curtesy of Rails' August Bank Holiday offer. I also fitted the same decoder to the Coal Tank. Whilst the Coal Tank runs beautifully, the Johnson is very jerky on starting and stopping. I've swapped the decoders between the two locos with the same jerkiness in the Johnson. If anyone else has had the same problem could you give me some advice, please? Thank you. Paul.
  9. I’m afraid I am being lazy here, but as there are 84 pages in this thread I hope you understand. Has anyone managed to dismantle one of these coaches and if so, how please?
  10. Apologies for the multiple posting of previous replies, fat thumbs! Did any of you receive multiple emails from Stephanie Adams at CG Recovery yesterday afternoon? They contained a portal link which I cannot open. I replied to her this morning and she has said to open the portal! Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Paul.
  11. I’ve received a similar reply from CG Recovery. They are sending a covering letter to include with my CC company’s claim form, which they are sending to me. My CC company only seemed concerned with the date the product was expected, which of course I couldn’t tell them, and how I had discovered the liquidation. I found out through a Digitrains email stating their N gauge King project was no longer proceeding, however I’ve screenshotted the DJ Models website homepage, I suggest you all do the same. These matters are time sensitive so I would urge you all to act quickly. Good luck.

  14. I’m disappointed more than angry with this situation. Crowd funding has brought us much requested models which would not have been produced otherwise, but fingers have been burnt here, including mine. I paid the nigh on £250 APT deposit through my credit card after the initial PayPal problem (whatever that was) so hopefully I won’t have the £30/£100 issue. I’m abroad at the moment so will speak to my CC company tomorrow. Can I ask the moderators if Mr. Jones is a member of RM Web, please? And if he is, should he be asked to leave?
