  1. If it is the layout I mentioned earleri then I've found it in an index as being in Railway Modeller May and June 2000, as the Warmley Common Light Railway. Built by Graeme Schrouder and was a minimum space industrial layout.
  2. I found an old layout plan that I must have grabbed at some point, back in 2012. It's titled Warmley Common, which I believe is in the Gloucestershire area, and it sort of fits your description so this might be the relevant one. Unfortunately I have no other details. Best regards Stuart
  3. I've subscribed since 1984. Never been a problem until December last year - the delay was due to a change in packaging (compostable plastic) causing an issue at the printers and occurred for the next 2 months. Then they reverted back to paper packaging but I still had delays. Then there was an IT glitch and I had to request another copy as I hadn't received the previous one, and the Lady said there had been several instances of that. The last two months it has arrived on time but the packaging was ripped, and even wet through last month, but in both cases the magazine had luckily survived intact, despite it hanging out of the envelope. I now believe they are going back to the plastic packaging!
  4. I've used fence/shed paint to seal all my layouts (built from ply), as usually sufficient left over from a painting job. Works a treat (one layout has been attending exhibitions for over 10 years), and the bonus is that it starts off with a suitable colour for a base, i.e. green or brown.
  5. One layout that inspired me (it must have done, by the number of pictures I took at the time at exhibitions!) was Pennyfeathers Green (OO) by Stuart Marshall (and featured on the front of one of the early covers of BRM). Effective scenery and reliable operation, and encompassed all that I was looking for in a model. Stuart
