the 7-6-16 date is for new orders so that production numbers can be generated. The price that was given on the day you paid the deposit, is the price you will pay.
I'm assuming that the KFA and 321 will follow the same route as the pendolino in that they will request the outstanding 50% once the model is just about ready to go into production. So you have to pay the early bird / 50% deposit now and pay in X number of months when it's due for production. The 30th deadline is only when the price goes up, not when order books close.
Sorry can't help on the KFA livery question. I'm sure someone else can do that bit might be best to ask in the KFA topic.
That's a lot of TEAs you've got there!

68015 got those for the SVR gala, they are not a permanent feature, they should be taken off at some stage.
They are looking at something more permanent in the future, but as to when and what, it's still very much up in the air.

Well there went my morning!
Just found this thread and had to read the whole lot of it.
That track work is fab. Can't wait to see further updates of the layout.
I can't help thinking that seeing a Pendolino or 2 snaking through that point work would look incredible.
Cheers for sharing.
Alistair
Typical something interesting in my station and I'm away, again!
Love the pictures especially the one at BCS.
Your photos providing loads of inspiration again.

EP1 is the Engineering Prototype number 1.
UsuallyEP1, EP2, decorated samples, then release is the usual course of events but as with everything, stuff happens to disrupt this.
Hope this helps

Ben when you get the chance could you try and grab some photos of the light inserts for the coaches and with them working. As I haven't been convinced with the Dapol or aftermarket ones and would like to see how these compare before I consider them.
I would like to offer a weekend of running it on Kinlet Wharf at the Sutton Coldfield show at the end of April. If you want to give it an interesting test with hand built points and under full OHLE. Not that I want to play with it myself, strictly as a comprehensive testing session.
Cheers
Alistair
I would assume that because of the large area (approx 66%) of the power cars that don't have Windows the chassis and motor would be hidden by that. They have seats and lights on the tables.

I think with sorting out another launch and preparing for the York show other things might have been on their mind. And as the early bird offer is ther until end of June I don't think it's too much of a problem.
Alistair
Come back wallet. I don't want to buy more than 12. Please come back.
Would be a good wagon to do and as long as it come in at around the TEA would be a massive seller.
But anyway back to the 321's.
Alistair
That reason is they want to announcement at the show.
I think it's just Ben being a tease.
With some deductive thinking I recon we could work it out. My guess is an ***-*.
Alistair
You are right. There was a graphic mock up done for when they get transferred into the LM pool from up north. But none have actually been rebranded yet.
That would explain why there isn't one due for release. Thanks for clearing that up.
Alistair
Just seems odd to me that there isn't a London Midland livery being done.
You would think that with the 350, pendolino and 321 being done then a LM one would sell rather well. It's almost like they haven't thought about what other models are out there. I just hope that if and when there are left overs sat on shelves in their stores that they don't withold any future liveries.
At least I won't have to fund a couple of them until they decide to do the LM one.
Alistair
I recon a weekend on Kinlet Wharf would do it the world of good
Looks absolutely cracking so far. Got to get on and earn some extra cash to pay the final balance for them soon.
Alistair
I think it's was more of a no finger gesture/ statement than a wave. Or he was suggesting they liked to polish things.
I'm just hoping that by June when it's meant to run through my station that most of the hype has died down a bit, and we don't get anywhere near the level of aggravation that the ECML staff will have, had to endure today. But there goes that flying pig and what's that unicorn chasing?!?
Alistair
Possibly, it's one of the pre production, or test fit models, so not done to 100% specs to keep costs down. Or Could be one of 100 other reasons.
