  1. Having spent the morning checking all droppers and disconnecting all the other accessory decoders and auto frogs I think I've narrowed it down to a faulty lenz chip
  2. The decoder is connected straight to the bus, the autofrogs are connected to other points being powered by nce qsnaps. I've only connected 1 point to the dcc concepts decoder thus far and that operates fine yet even when thats disconnected it still seems to interfere with mobile decoder
  3. hello all, I'm having running issues on my layout when the dcc concepts accessorie decoder is connected to the layout causing the loco to become unresponsive to the controller. I'm using a Nce powercab with the sb4 smart booster split into 2 power districts going through nce eb1's the bus is not continuous and has dcc concepts snubers. Each piece of track has droppers. I'm using electrofrogs with associated insulated fishplates and gaugemaster autofrogs switching the polarity. The loco has a lenz silver decoder with dc running disabled on cv29. When the layout is turned on the ads-8sx trips the breakers but they reset straight away i start the loco off and runs fine however if I try to change speed direction or even emergency stop it continues to run even at speed step zero. Only when I disconect the ads-8sx all control resumes. I ve check the wiring and everything is fine, if anyone could offer some insight it would be greatly appreciated, thanks Rich.
  4. Do you have bus filters connected?. They cured my random short circuits
  5. Typical the one time I have some play money too...
  6. So with that being said would they have to honour their prices or refund them and relist at a different rate? It's tempting to pre order now but am I wasting my time..
  7. Can anyone help me understand the difference in the pre order price on the Hornby website and that of hattons its almost half price
