I have been interested in in railways since childhood.I was a working volanteer on the SVR for 20 years (fireman for 14 years)my main area that i worked in was the the locomotive workshop due to being a toolmaker but a car accident put paid to that side of the hobby for me.Now most of my railway intrests are mainly modeling to P4standards.

I have been married for 13 years and have 2 boys and a very understanding wife (when i disappear into my home office for an all day modeling session).A kit car that i built in my 20s has been stored for more years than i can remember so next year i hope to rebuild it for next summer as my boys keep pestering me for a ride in it.
