  1. Fair enough but did you see my post comparing the price of EU TT models and the Hornby prices, Hornby are around £100 less for comparable models, somehow I doubt we’ll be getting that refinement.
  2. You seem very confident, have you seen them in the flesh?
  3. Well I’m not going back over one hundred pages just to find it for you 😆
  4. Well I sent an email last evening at 17:30 to service and have not received my spares as yet! Awful service. And for the sake of some on RMWeb that is actually a joke, I don’t expect anything until this afternoon 🤣
  5. Without going too far off topic, the last time I asked Bachmann for spares to replace bent con rods on an 03 shunted I got these by return, excellent reaction but the spares were worse than the originals but in fairness to Bachmann after sending back this picture I got another set which were straight very quickly 😁
  6. Yes they were excellent at swapping out my Nimbus, unfortunately this evening I just ran it in the dark for the first time and a cab light and engine compartment light is not working at one end, I have sent an email to AS support but mentioning it here in case anyone else has had something similar?
  7. I’ve lost all four corner steps (they were definitely there before the first run 😄) and two brake cylinders and a chain, I thought the chain would be easy to find! Good idea about the spares availability.
  8. Holy Poop! What happened there? Did the rod get bent when it all went downhill or did you notice anything before testing/running?
  9. My comment was tongue in cheek…….I thought I’d get on the side of Mr Hornby and SK, I might get my club stuff before anyone else 😁
  10. I’m pretty sure I have a few Kato N gauge wagons which have spoked wheels.
  11. Somebody (or several) have mentioned the placement of the counterweights. The production versions will be perfect.
  12. We really don’t want to go back to all plastic wheel sets 😱
  13. Yes, it was reported on here (at the show) that SK himself said they just changed the Logo on the sleeper bottoms. If that’s not true then I retract.
  14. But it won’t fit the tracks 🤣
  15. Well if they are using Arnold (China) to manufacture the Locos they will be excellent but the retail costings will need to be revised or cause a stir over the channel, this one is over £208 rrp, the steam Locos are all hovering under £300.
  16. Well the Hornby Setrack is the Tillig track sooooo…..😉
  17. The magazine actually states they are “placeholders” and not actually TT120 models.
  18. They most definitely are, just a look at the flanges tell you they are no where near as coarse as the TT120 flanges.
  19. And they have a good supply of Elizebeth II in stock, a beautiful plush purple. https://svrshop.co.uk/products/new-severn-valley-railway-elizabeth-ii-hagley-hall-plushs
  20. Weekend country dress……perfectly normal what? 🧐
  21. It’s not un-ballasted track, it’s pre-ballasted 😅 Discuss………you know somebody will…..
  22. Nor does the text on page 26 talking about the Britannia and annotated as #14 the picture actually shows a DMU. I have not seen mention of a DMU in the press bumf but the mag as above shows the old TT DMU, I really hope Hornby release a DMU in the new range.
  23. Indeed, I have Kadees on my 00 stock which is fine if a bit finicky uncoupling sometimes, with all the resources of the entire industry I find it odd that a reliable delayed industry wide coupler hasn’t yet been designed, the laziness of “that’ll do for them” attitude I think.
  24. Delayed action couplings…..nirvana, if only……we can but dream.
