However I am digressing away from the thread topic here, so I'll shut up.
Hi
Sorry to interrupt the discussion but perhaps you could make time to respond to the PM I sent you last Friday?
Thanks.

Thanks Mike, now merged.

Enough with the wishlisting please gents, this is a useful topic on the railbuses so let's keep it to that.
Thanks.

This should have been sorted out long ago, if they are not ready by now then they will never be ready.
Has the Retailer gone bust? Or have they lost them?
Except for soldering the wires for the lights, it is a 10 minute task to swap the chassis over
BSG has already been given sensible advice, let's not sensationalise or speculate please.
Thanks.

You really have no idea what you're talking about, haven't you?
That's enough of that sort of retort, thanks. One poster has already been excluded from this topic, let's not make it more please.

Long and useful discussion of the new Bachmann 47s including the Rails L/Es here: Existing 47 thread
Thanks Andrew, now merged. If you report such posts, we usually get to them quicker

The above two posts have been merged into an existing (and perfectly adequate) topic, which may even contain the answers sought.
Cheers.

oh very sorry - didnt mean to upset anyone. I wont post anymore.
thank you
Suit yourself Tracks, but I don't see anyone getting upset apart from yourself. All I asked was that you identify whether you're a trader, so we could put your statement in context.
Cheers.

Thanks Chard. We appreciate members' concerns over both these locos and the class 14s, and we will do our best to avoid locking topics. If unhelpful or ill-considered contributions threaten to overwhelm things, we won't hesitate to delete those particular posts without further notification.
Cheers.

We were told by Heljan in the middle of last June, that if we dont advise them how many chassis we require by 24th of May, then we wouldnt be getting any replacements. Full Stop.
So how does that wok then ????
Not amused
Hi
Whilst we're always interested in information that will round out the picture (as opposed to unproductive, angry rants, that is), would you mind explaining who 'we' is in this context, please? Otherwise your post doesn't make as much sense as it could do.
Thanks.

We're getting dangerously close to the "postie's just put the mag through the letterbox" kind of update. Shush! Better tone it down before we attract a moderator.
Gents, can I just highlight Pete's point here, and his very apt comparison - several inconsequential posts have now been deleted from this topic.
Thanks.

I would have thought that this is a similar case to the one some time ago with the Bachmann A1. A problem is found. The manufacturer gives a cut of date before which he will provide remedial action. Other owners who do not take up the offer are left in limbo. However as the goods are clearly not of marketable quality they must insist that the retailer gives them a full refund. It has to be a refund as a repair is no longer possible, unless you are prepared to negotiate re accepting a remotoring by a suitably qualified independent party. The owner is then free to buy a new version from the latest batch. How the retailer gets his money back from Heljan is of no concern to the purchaser.
Gents, it seems to us that Bernard's comments are considered, sensible and firmly rooted in law (Sale of Goods Act, as mentioned by Spamcan).
We obviously remain interested in anyone who gains resolution by whatever method, but please let's not have this thread descend into that all-too familiar downward spiral of unproductive recriminations.
Thanks.

RRP is ??119.95
Expect them to be selling for around ??105 - 110
Thanks Gareth
All - sensible comments are still welcome but let's not have a repeat of the class 14 topic, please. If you think it's too much, fair enough, don't buy it, but don't bother telling everybody about it
Cheers.

Thanks for your comments gents, the price is what it is and it's for each of us to decide whether or not to buy. The reasons have been previously discussed, at length, and as they were recently with City of Truro and countless other limited editions before that. So let's not get into that familiar spiral of endless gainsaying, please.
Cheers.
-
Do you realy not get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or are you just trying to do a wind up
Enough now please gents, of the gainsaying over statistical analysis. We're all entitled to make our own judgments - positive or negative - on what we've seen, but it's not likely that anyone's changing anyone else's opinion in this way.
Previous topics on this loco, on the old forum, have become ridiculously unproductive and required very strict control from us, action which we'd rather not have to put the time into. This is already our second intervention in this one.
Thanks for your co-operation.

Does anyone know what the very latest is with these. I really do want a BR green version.
If there's nothing here, then I doubt it.
Cheers.

Hi
You might want to defend that supposition in a libel court, we however do not. Please desist in making defamatory suggestions based on flimsy 'evidence'.
Thank you.
