  2. Sorry for not getting back sooner been tied up with family stuff.

I do offer alternatives to Cheques and they are Postal Order or Cash.

I did look at alternatives when I started in 2009 but chose not to go that way as the increase in product cost would of doubled the final cost to the customer and I dread to think of what it would be now.

It's just me doing this none else no team just me.

I have always tried to offer value for money and keep the end price low, I don't make a lot on every sale and the last few years have been very hard and it still is so I'm not going to incur any other costs that are not necessary to keep going.

I have no plans to change the accepted methods of for my products sorry for those who don't like it but that's how it is.

I don't have to do this if I stop and go I'm not the one who loosing out in the end.

  4. The 7mm HR 08 is all designed I just have to find some one who can print the master to a good enough quality so It can be used for casting, with how this year has gone it's not at the higher levels of my things to do list unless there is a high demand for it.

The blue parts are the original Dapol items the grey is the new parts, the cab will be separate.

There will be dimples in the body sides to be drilled out to fit the Dapol wire hand rails.

At the moment there will be one main body version unless there is a demand for the other version.

  5. I Have had my site looked into and there are no problems detected I my self tried the link from Google and was re directed to a Pharmacy site this has also been reported and I have been told that the problem lies with Google and the re direction by passes my site link.

Below I have put a direct link to my site so if you have problems from Google use this one, if you still have problems I'm afraid it's most likely your pc that has the problem.

    Are you still doing these?

Yes I'm still doing them please check my website?

For those interested, I shall be adding the 7mm HR 08 to my 7mm range in 2020 and will be produced in cast resin and will utilize a lot of parts from the Dapol model for the detail.

More info on that to follow after release.

  7. For those interested I have started work on a conversion design for the Dapol class 08.

It's still early days in the design and the media it will be produced in has not been decided yet.

Once I get further into the design I will post some CAD renders.

  8.

After quite a bit or trial and error, I think I've got the curves of the tank front in the right place, also the end riveting and the spacing of the tanks relative to the footplate and boiler.  The second loco should be much quicker!

So for now it looks like this:

And with the tanks perched on the footplate:

How did you cut the parts out from the sheet without any damage?

    Very nice work :imsohappy:
