  1. What Livery will she be in when finished Peter?
  2. If you ask Mr Parkin if he can help I sure he will.
  3. I was asked to rebuild a PRMRP 56 for someone ok i thought what a night mare I ended up just using the bogies, motors and body wrap and rebuilding the rest with a lot of help from Mr Parkin for a few parts and 3D printed cabs and new etched parts. They were good kits in the day and they are a good starting point now but you have to think out the box with how to improve them to modern standards. Ray you have done a lot and some JLTRT cabs will solve about 90% of your problems, they transformed this DJH 40
  4. All the light colours first working to the dark colours.
  5. Message sent you Ray check your messages.
  6. The house is still there all be it changed slightly with more houses around it.
  7. I'm doing an etched one. Should be ready in November.
  8. Peter How do you stop it undoing but still have it removable for maintenance?
  9. Rich Can i suggest getting some 5mm perspex sheet cut it the size of your unit with the pivot points in and then use that to test the bogies and drive system on it, also you can add weight to it to find the max that the drive will move.
  10. No I stand by my comment Jim your 950 looks better & more realistic than Nigel's model you have done a great job. We have talked before about your skills set and difficulties with modeling and you have done a great job with this model.
  11. To be perfectly honest Jim your model looks better than Nigel Burkin's rendition. Well done that man.
  12. The M&M belt drives are a very good product and give a more positive drive than the delrin chain, but it does tak some thinking out to mount them properly.
  13. You cannot cut then down but you can fix them to a plasticard mounting for them to fit. The area that lights up is 30 mm long x 4mm wide.
  14. Very nice work Jim it's good to see someone using the jig properly.
