I'm pleased to say that this afternoon I sales of this kit reached 560 since first releasing the kit.

As other have mentioned it's the Flux and the solder you are using that is giving you the corrosion and I feel that you won't get as stronger as using other fluxes and solders, if you can do not use lead free solder it's a pile of S**T and use C&L Red or Green fluxes, you can use both of these with 40 or 80W without any problems.

Great work Jim you are doing a cracking job.

It's a good job you don't have to paint camo on any of the models as you would have more to moan about masking a model but at least you would have some colour variety in you modeling for a change.

With the close up pictures Simon you would be hard to tell it from the real thing well done

I know Gary If I do get rid it will be all or nothing with this set as I have only opened two or three of the set.

Well before Christmas I had come the Unimog and to say I'm Peed off with it would be an understatement it's not 1:76th if you measure the gauge on the guide wheels it's not even a scale 4'8.5" which is 18.833mm in 4mm and not what I was expecting and I'm still thinking of stopping having the models, Being with Atlas on this run of models reminds me of the program "Gold Rush" the majority of models are just dirt and then there are a few very nice gold nuggets dropped in every now and then. The jury is till out on weather to finish or continue at the moment.

The MU socket can always be filled and the Led type marker lights are correct for use on a model of 37884 things like the nose top board holders can be made from plasticard and plastic rod or removed from a Bachman nose and transplanted on to the resin cast noses, to do this it's just a case of using some time and vision.

Ben Why not just ask Phoenix if have the colours there is a Small chance that they supplied the paint for the real engines? They stared with that then moved in to supplying model companies and then modelers as far as I know.

I had the airport fire tender today and my next is on the 10/11/16 don't know what it will be though.

I will be releasing a complete set of etches for the 37/4 conversion during October this will include all of the etched parts needed to convert the Heljan CH & SH 37's to the 37/4 variant. I will post more info on the PH Designs section of RM Web soon.

Hi James I would be happy to do the EE Engines if I can get some reliable cross section drawings for them looking across the length of the engines?

The big question is and Atlas will not answer it "is where are the models of the Unimog?" I have emailed the 5 times about it and had no reply on any occasion. Atlas are a waste of time.
