Hi Mick, I dialled in to your weathering session and found it very instructive. I've often considered attending one of the Missenden events but never quite got round to it. A great set of videos on the website, I may now pluck up the courage to use the airbrush I've had for many years. Well done that man.

Dave, what have you used for guttering?
-
Good stuff, just been pointed your way from my Pencarrow thread. I'm also building a 7mm layout with a scenic area almost the same size. Been wondering about lighting supports so your links above are very useful. Lovely layout by the way.

Judging from the state of that front bogie, it could be an interesting build. Will be good to see how you tackle that rust and corrosion. Slightly disappointed that you're not doing a much better 4-4-0 though...a T9.

One of my favourite small tanks, beautiful job Pete.
-
Lovely job on the Ivatt.
-
Have you decided on the number for the loco Pete?
-
Wheels, you've forgotten the wheels...
-
Finish the Ivatt...go on, go on, go on....
-
Have a good Easter chap. Do they have an equivalent of Easter eggs over there?
-
I have a selection of 1366 domes and chimneys you could have if that helps...
Love the way the chassis breaks down into components by the way.
-
Excellent work Pete, good to see Bill offering advice on the makeup of the under gubbins. What castings are you short of?
-
Valvegear like that has always frightened me to death. Thankfully the O2 has none and that lovely 1366 only has the basic GWR arrangement. I suspect that the absence or relatively simple visible parts of the valvegear on GWR locos helped with its popularity before the mass of RTR.
-
Cracking work chap, going to be a model to be proud of. Makes my O2 look simple.
-
Jim's 02 kit is superb and good value. The parts all fit and the castings are clean. Much recommended. The only issue i've had was interface issues between the smaller than usual bogie axles and bearings. Slaters now provide the right bearings so that's sorted. I'm off to the G0G show at Kettering this weekend to pick up a few bits and bobs and to find a suitable gearbox and motor for the 02. Have a good weekend Pete.

Cracking work Pete, turning out very nicely and looking like an Ivatt should. Structural work all done bar the cab roof - I'm at the same stage with my O2 build.
-
Not sure the apron would have helped me today. I somehow pinged a step assembly off the ceiling and it landed in my cup of tea. Brilliant.
-
I hope you don't get distracted by all that reading material!
-
Bl@@dy curves on GWR locos - you have my sympathies.
-
Well done Andy for being John's carer for the day. The nurse did tell you not to let him drive didn't she? It doesn't half raise his blood pressure...
-
Jesting aside, if you were doing another BWT build, where would you start? Same kit but a wizened approach or a different kit or scratch build??
-
Very, very nice. I'll be sending you my postal address Peter. Feel free to send it over!

CK, very nice but when are you adding the white render?
