  1. Great to see the circuit complete Phil. Makes me wanna get up in the loft and crack on. Guy
  2. Really impressed with your Progress Phil. I bet you can't wait to get a full loop running. You and Poppy can sit back and watch the trains go by......... until Poppy takes a massive swipe at a passing formation she doesn't approve of! :-)
  3. Workshop looks great mate. Ideal place for a cup of tea! Guy
  4. Great start Mick. Looks as professional as one would expect with your crew. Guy
  5. Hi Phil Great to see your still beavering away. Fiddle yard is really coming together. Guy
  6. Nice work on the cabinet mate...... and everything else :-)
  7. That 85 looks really nice mate. Nice to see a few full length pics as well.
  8. Ahhh yes. Mr Melly I remember your old thread well. Some lovly examples of thornabys finest. Great work. Hwve you modelled thornaby TMD buildings yet :-) Guy
  9. Is this one? http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1784647 Guy
  10. Happy Birthday Phil, hope you had/having a good one
  11. Fantastic work Phil! It looks really good and the lighting on the fiddle board just adds to the overall quality. Right, where's me jigsaw? Guy
  12. Epic scratch build! Really impressive Terry. Guy
  13. Second level looks great Phil. You must be really pleased with it. A nice clean area to keep all of your stock. Guy
  14. Oh and I think I'm going to use a white SMD LED strip like this to light my fiddle yard http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-5M-3528-SMD-300-LED-Strip-Lighting-12V-DIY-Party-Clubs-Deco-5-Colors-/251070309820?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Night_Lights_Fairy_Lights&var=&hash=item3a74f4e5bc With the relevant transformer. Should be low profile enough and be cheap to run. Guy
  15. Cracking progress Phil, and I'm following your fiddle yard planning with interest as I have never built one before. I really like the idea if being able to turn the trains on the fiddle yard boards. Will that require a reverseing module or just clever point manipulation? Keep up the good work mate, it appears I have fallen asleep! Guy
  16. Fantastic vids Leon. Really like the last one, shows off the scenics to good effect. Why not fit a chip and speaker to your favourite loco? Gotta be more cost effective. Guy
  17. Great progress and great video Phil. Excellent choice of loco to test with as well ;-)
  18. Great progress Phil and Desert Orchid looks right at home. Building work has halted on Millfield now as extensive stock testing is taking place (playing trains). Which I think was what we predicted would happen! Edit: how about building the helix out of set track 2nd and third radius (dirt cheap on eBay if you time it right) and saving the flexi for the fiddle yard? Guy
  19. Great Vid Phil, I like the way the tracks descend down the ramp. I think different levels of track add so much to a layout. As for the bits of wood.......... I have a fairly big collection I can't let go of yet....... Even though I know in my heart ill never use them! Guy
  20. Nice work on a grand scale! How's the layout doing? I seem to remember it being upstairs in a factory or industrial park unit? Guy
  21. I really like it. It has a nice spacious feel to it. A good run for the main line as well, be good for an on board video when some scenics are in place. Guy
  22. Glad you got the pics sorted mate! Guy
  23. Nice vid Phil. Really emphasis how long the layout is, looks great. What camera did you use and how did you mount it? Cheers Guy
  24. I just paste the full address out of the Internet explorer address bar into the post I'm doing and it appears as a video rather than a link. so typing h ttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEjsuIrRXJ8 I've put a space in the https (h ttps://www......etc instead o https://www...... ) so it displays on this post otherwise it would display the video like below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEjsuIrRXJ8 HTH Guy
