A testament to how well Accurascale have done this. I've been backdating my model of 37051 and have used IPA to remove the depot plaques - a very easy task. The outline will disappear under weathering and varnish in due course.
Yes I get what you were trying to say.
I know they all have subtle differences and there isn't a "standard" EWS 37/4. My post was merely to suggest AS doing an EWS machine in the future.
I wholeheartedly agree with this, EWS, Loadhaul and Triple Grey would be superb in the next run. Just a few standard locos that are good candidates for renumbering/detailing etc.
This is a superb layout and just shows what can be achieved in a small space. It has given me ideas for a future project with the imminent arrival of the new SLW 25..
What are the dimensions please?
However how many people run their layouts at night? Rear cab lights would not be used in the day time. I would agree that door interlock lights are of more benefit.
194 looks impressive, I would be keeping it as it is. The use of the AS ploughs is a nice touch. Might pick one of these up myself when the price comes down.
Good on Accurascale for pushing ahead and tooling up quite a niche couple of locos for people to add to their collection. Not my era but I'm interested to see how these turn out and eagerly await my EWS 31466!
