  1. 2 images with a Class 60 and associated wagons - not sure it's a hint to be honest. The Hornby model is still a very very good representation of the prototype and is perfect for some detailing and weathering to bring it to life.
  2. Keep telling myself I don't need one... 😅 But they look so so good..👍
  3. I don't think the Class 60 has wide enough appeal for a brand new model. To be fair the Hornby model is still exceptionally good with detailing and weathering, although the lighting and sound capabilities could be improved. The shape and bulkiness of the prototype Hornby got fairly spot on in my opinion. Still, it would be interesting if Accurascale did one..👍
  4. All gone a bit quiet, I'm guessing because the 92 is stealing the show.. 👍
  5. I've emailed recently and was told either by the end of the year or early into the New Year.
  6. Surprised there hasn't been more posts with people showing off their new models! 👍
  7. Does anyone know what decoder interface these have please? 21 pin/Pluxx 22? Thanks, Chris
  8. Morning all, Does anyone know when Bachmann will be releasing their next set of quartely announcements? Thanks, Chris
  9. I'm an EM gauge modeller and have had relative success with pulling the wheels out on their original axles for locos such as the Hornby 60 and Bachmann 37. However I’ve come to realise that this should only be a short term solution, in time I will re-wheel all of this stock but as a stop gap to get the stock running it's fine. The thickness of the wheel flange is the determing factor, the finer wheelsets will obviously perform better.
  10. The delivery schedule is as follows: Batch 1 is the Scottish Headlamp 37/0s and modern 37/4s. These are now in production and scheduled to ship at the end of August from China, arriving in stock in mid-October. Batch 2 is the 37/6s and the Yellow 97/3. Planned shipment end of October, arriving in stock in mid December. Batch 3 is the Blue/Green 37/0s. Planned shipment end of December, arriving in stock in February 2023.
  11. Will the chassis side frames be able to un-clip? Just thinking in terms of weathering as it makes life a lot easier!
  12. Post further up from Fran explaining that due to a competitor in the field, they have to be more guarded with news but there will be some in due course.
  13. I would be interested to see photos of 47790 in DRS if anyone has managed to pick one up?
  14. Looking forward to being able to see/do a side by side comparison between this and the Bachmann version. I must admit that the Accurascale tractor does seem to represent better value in terms of pricing and kit within the model as standard. On the other hand though, I think it will come down to which liveries are produced in my modelling era.
  15. Looks good to me Will (not that I'm an expert) - I'm guessing you'll be able to build up the scenery on these sections now?
  16. Whilst looking through the Accurascale website yesterday I noticed that photos of the actual models had been added to the landing pages. https://www.accurascale.com/collections/class-37 All looking very promising.
  17. Excellent atmosphere and with the stock weathered so masterfully. Top work Nick.
  18. I'm very appreciative of the current AS 37 range, however part of me is still hoping for a last minute announcement of an early 2000's EWS 37/4 - plenty to pick from! 😆 Seriously looking forward to these!
  19. Are we going to see any further photos of the production models? Guessing there on their way?
  20. I always gloss varnish first with Railtec transfers Ian.
