I have jsut watched it running in the BHMRC thread and it seems to go pretty sweet in the video there
-
Its even ultra neat and well presented to the rear!
Good luck with it today!
-
Very nice and airy like trees look....but they are, or rather the pictures are, a bit 90degrees the wrong way on here.....
-
very nice....there is much charm about the small blue loco indeed!
Id also agree with Mikkel - the final shots lighting and backscene are a perfect fit together....
-
Lovely stuff as usual Pete....
The "spidery elegance" of the etched chassis certainly knocks the RtR ones into the proverbial cocked hat!
This 2mm stuff may become contagious
-
It looks just as neat and quasi-sculptural as everything else you achieve, from where I am looking.....Maybe I need to up my game somewhat?
-
Wonderful stuff
its not just what you do that always appeals, its the sheer quality of the "how" .
The Fiddle area looks like some pseudo-industrial "installation" as Art, not just somewhere for small trains to hide away
-
That's almost sculptural
-
Shadow gaps (as Ian said up there) more plain grey frontage, then top it all that amazingly ingenious sector plate from perspex...You do transfer your skills to the point I go lots!!!
-
nowt more to add!
-
I believe the author of the book on Rustons is Ruston on here
-
Lovley!
-
Good work....that it runs stil after so long is some Testament to the original build
-
I think something like the Waterworks would lose a lot if made in brick.....I also think you would be "safe" having such a building made out of stone in GW land
Ill go aim the camera at Low Bradfield (and a more local one) and put the results on here for perusal
ps my oldest known "family link " is from Bradfield in 15summat or other
-
The waterworks at Low Bradfield are about 3 miles as the Corvine flies from where I am sat right now - I can see the fields at the top of High Bradfield out of the window - when it isnt dark of course
-
Very Briefly I think you may be better off asking questions in the relevent sub-forums of the site rather than in a Blog post....that way they will appear in the View New Content, and also stay visible in each thread where I would say mroe people will see/comment/advise on whatever it is.........
-
"brooding" is the word there!
-
I dunno if it is an effect of your "poor" lighting but I think the pix make it look rather moody in an "abot-to-rain any moment" sort of way ; and certainly seems like good value
-
I cabt find the button marked "more than like and more than very clever" !
-
The end of CJ??
-
I can almost hear the crane creaking in the breeze in the second shot!

Is "making them full size, and then shrinking them" not cheating a bit?

I dont know if you have seen this picture of Par, but I thought it would be of some use if not......And its a great picture whatever

RE the '###### Repellant' - I've just been to Halfords & they don't stock it.. ;-)
Somebody used it all on the Sales Staff maybe?

Very pleased to hear all went pretty well at the show - No fear of the next blog installment being a slightly re-titling to "Kyle on a Bonfire" now then!
