    Everyone speaks of mess, you have no idea. Many years ago at the old house my wife sanded the walls in the lounge one day when I was out at work, it looked like a nuclear winter when I got home, EVERYTHING was covered in a thick white/grey layer of dust. Took days to clear up.

    That’s very odd as I almost exclusively use 8 pin, I have 1 21 pin in my home brew DP1, all work well.

    Because one of their cars also repeatedly breached track limits at turn 6. Of course it's now been swept under the carpet by the FIA, no retrospective penalties. I wonder why? ........

    You have to use the HM7000 Power Bank plugged into the on board socket on the decoder

    At the moment you have to set up the functions manually. What I have done is save a default set of functions and then import the profile for each loco added to the dongle. It's then easier to edit anything that is decoder specific.

    Yes and no, there's one issue that has already been fixed in the app, but the development version is only on apple and I had my Xperia with me. Apart from that it worked really well, allowed me to control my plain vanilla dcc locos as well as the HM7000 equipped pug. As a result of my testing there are a couple of app improvements that have been suggested too. No firm date on the release of the dongle yet though. Not much longer so we have been told

    Indeed Pete. Coasting is possible though by setting the deceleration momentum to a very high value and then using the brake key (F27) to stop the loco when you want. It's not ideal if you are operating in DCC mode on say a Powercab as at least 3 button presses are needed to activate F27 .... If you have a more modern DCC system that allows for button reconfiguration then it's less of a problem
