Today I shall mostly be biting my tongue. There won't be much left by teatime.

....is so happy to welcome a second grandchild into the world.
Such personal joy at such a sad time.

I think that the idiots who design home self-assembly electric fans and write their instructions should be locked away for life in the Tower of London, given only itchy dungarees to wear and forced to listen to Barry Manilow for the duration of their sentances.

Privates on Parade again.

You dumb palooka!

Once again, Radio 3 is playing some arty farty modernistic crap, so I have been forced to get up out of my chair and switch the channel to Classic FM, who are currently playing Charpentier, much better.

..is doing the 'first sort' of Grahame's 'stuff'. Thinking of the sheer volume of one's own 'bric-a-brac', it can be imagined just what is there. Some useful and interesting items will be appearing on the table at Taunton. Proceeds
will go to the hospital trust where Grahame was looked after.
CK will be visiting tomorrow for the 'second sort'.

Just about to enjoy a fresh lobster supper. Kindly given to me by a crab fisherman friend of my son.

Christmas has now begun for me after listening to the nine lessons and carols from Kings. It now brings very happy memories of listening to it on the way to Bristol a few years ago for the family Christmas gathering but sadly the lady who organized it all was taken from us far too early.
At school we used to sing 'Adeste Fidelis' in Latin. I do still try!

Radio 3 has gone all psuedish and arty-farty on me again, so I've turned the radio to Classic FM, that'll teach it.

Going against the grain here chaps! I quite enjoy the eclectic mixture that they broadcast. I do like to hear Bach and Vidor organ music, early choral stuff, and some jazz also some of the strange late night stuff. I don't much care for opera particularly when it's some caterwauling contralto or a bellowing basso profundo !
Being an enjoyer of all music, as long as it's good to listen to... during the day Radio 6 music is usually on!

One thing about taking part in a naked cycle ride campaign is that you don't have to worry about what to wear.

..did enjoy the 'Third Man' movie on Friday. What a classic with that atmospheric zither music.

Whatever happened to Leon Trotsky.
