Harry - I've made a start on the "Sub Base Units" which will be used as Storage and as a support for the Baseboards. Just need to find some mojo to get cracking with the baseboards.

David - That's a novel idea, our young Cocker Spaniel will have some fun with that!

Without a doubt it is the passing of the Stone through the Ureter that is the most painful part, you have my sympathy. I only found out about my latest (3rd) Kidney Stone by chance (I had a CT Scan for another symptom) and was surprised when my Urologist said he was putting me forward to have the stone zapped. Quite a relief to know that it will be a controlled procedure instead of being in Slovakia like last time it happened. Anyway good luck I hope all goes well for you.

Zero Garvitas, good luck with your forthcoming procedure. I've passed two stones previously, the painful bit was leaving the kidney and travelling in the ureter. Passing it from the Bladder was painless. I seem to be having Kidney Stones every 20 years!

Having had two previous Kidney Stones I think this will be the best option. It's ok passing them, but it's excruciating when they come away from the Kidney.

Thank you. Yes, with a mortgage of 6 years to run, I will be looking for work, although I fear age maybe against me. I am quite relieved in some respect as work pressure was getting to me, now it will be financial pressure!

Buildings of a certain size are classed as permitted development and therefore do not require planning permission. Again depending on size it may not require building approval with the exception of Part P for the electrics.

Thank you all for your kind comments. It was a great relief to hear that I was clear; hopefully after a few more tests we will have the high PSA Levels under control. As Tim says, a reminder for over 50's to get checked out.
