  13. Was there a proposal a few years back for a rake of mk3 coaches to be paired up with Tornado and based on the Severn Valley? I recall the idea was abandoned. Paul
  14. Success! Many thanks Raymond after spending an hour undoing screws and debating on removing the long bonnet I finally managed it without damaging any thing apart from a couple of handrails. As you said the centre pin was fouling the body. A gentle push with a screw driver and the pin came all the way out. Once fitted with a decoder I will reassemble. Major progress made. Many thanks.   15. I too have the same issue. I contacted Chris, to be told the same as you. On reading your post I have just spent another 20 mins trying to remove the body to no avail. The long end seems to lodge on the mounts for the two screws. Paul

  20. My NCE powercab that was bought around 2002 is starting to have issues with some buttons having to be pressed hard to get a response. I am thinking of getting a new one and wondered if there are any changes in the newer versions as regards software/ functions? Paul

  22. Hornby have brought out triple packs of wagons in the past though I don't think they were numbered differently. From memory when I did OO: PGA Rudd MHA To name a few. Paul
