Exciting landing at LBA last night. Not good when people are screaming and bracing for impact 5 miles out! Still, put me in the right frame of mind for Warley

Is rail freight grey really wanted by N gauge modellers? Sales would indicate not!

"Some people use words knowing full well that maybe only 10% of the viewers or readers know what they mean. We don't. We speak the language that everybody understands. Instead of me saying that somebody was avaricious, I would say they were bloody greedy". Bill Shankly

A few days ago I found a rather handy pair of mitre clamps for model assembly of one of the model railway shops websites. Obviously a must-have so, for some obscure reason, I decided to wait and order them the following day! Guess what? I can't remember which b....y shop it was. Anyone like to help save my sanity?

Waitin' for the early train. Sorry boy, but I've been hit by purple rain.

is getting worried. First my better half says "I have earned my trip to Railfest tomorrow" then asks what my plans were for a model railway in the loft, sounds like I am onto a winner here!

Does anyone else find it patronising for people to say 'RIP' for someone they've never met ? >

Stuck at work, half my b**dy staff have not turned up, probably due to WBA playing at home

here's a spare *, you seem to have run out. It's a poorer excuse as there's not a match on their fixture list http://www.wba.co.uk/page/Fixtures/0,,10366,00.html

We'd take the path to Jupiter, And maybe very soon, We'd cruise along the Milky Way, And land upon the moon.
