I am a CAD designer working in the construction sector although I have had a varied career which started as a lowly lab technician way back. I never made a bizarre machine that takes the tops off of eggs by rolling balls around an elaborate assault course though, hmm regret that ? . Having worked in materials science, ceramic development, aerospace and construction I know a thing or two about how stuff works. I also have a ridiculous curiosity in the ways of the universe and how its put together. Science and how it explains all of those mysteries intrigues me, and annoys the missus! My varied interests in railways, cars, sci-fi, art, music and everything in between tends to mean that I don't actually get nearly enough time to work at any of it!! Now where did that flux capacitor schematic go?
