  1. Apparently ESU have changed the plug size on the commercial release of the speaker for some reason (without mentioning it to us) so is too big for the 56 socket now. You may need to source a different plug to solder in it's place or solder the wires to the speaker pads on the board for the new speaker. Just a heads up.
  2. Well we've been around as long as Accurascale have (7 years, 8 since we announced our first model) but somehow always went under the radar. 🤷
  3. Hi Nick, no the none sound fitted locos do not have a speaker pre installed. The speaker and chip are part of the extra price paid for the sound version. The fans do operate yes however we are currently in contact with ESU as to whether they should operate on DC. Well will keep you updated when we know more. If you ordered a sound version then Rails should be able to swap the loco for the one that you ordered!
  4. Do you not want to add sound? For the lokpilot ESU recommended the 59619 but if you talk to rails they have been adding there own chips and have a pre programmed file for the loco.
  5. It's what they show as in the ESU Lokprogrammer.
  6. F0f - headlight front F0r - headlight rear aux1 - front markers aux2 - rear markers aux3 - fan #1 aux4 - fan #2 aux5 - front tails aux6 - rear tails aux7 - front cab aux10 - rear cab
  7. Yes that will be sorted out don't worry. There is a reason it's like it is and we are aware of the issue. 👍
  8. The AS 37 doesn't have any more functions than the 56 unless it's a WIPAC lights fitted one which probably has day night mode on that one.
  9. Our chips are programmed to keep all of the functions for none sound below F10
  10. Because people want the functionality of independently controlled lighting with different modes for day/night, yard, on trains, light engine, etc etc etc. basic lighting functions will not allow for that. We either have basic lighting as we always have with plug and play or we have custom set ups to allow for it, which is ultimately superior. We are currently working on our custom chips so that people can purchase them already set up to use to gain full functionality. People with lokprogrammers etc can already program their own to suit.
  11. That's the aux connections in the loco but functions can be programmed in software to operate any aux they see fit so will depend entirely how the decoder is programmed. It's unlikely that F3 will be Aux 3 for instance.
  12. We are currently in contact with ESU regarding the fan use on DC. Our spec and the instructions received from ESU (they designed the circuit board) suggests the dip switch settings for the fans on DC however we need to wait for the ESU engineer to get back us as to why they don't seem to be working currently.
  13. 008 also doesn't have an aerial.
  14. That was going to be my next question.
  15. No you shouldn't have to do that.
  16. That's very odd. I am sure Richard at Road and Rails fit one of those speakers just fine?
  17. I would phone them. They are really busy sorting orders at the moment.
  18. The flange squeal it automatic and curve radius/speed dependent. Slow to medium speed on a tight curve should do it. F7 turns it on manually if not.
  19. Well if it can't do this you are using it wrong. 😉
  20. Yes, the lamp iron is in the detail pack together with railtour headboards. You have to choose which you would like to fit.
  21. Has that taken a knock in transit and dislodged the roof panel. That's a big knock if it has as those very strong magnets.
  22. In that photo the roof looks correct and the precision way too dark. Interesting this lighting business.
  23. But is it so stark when not under a bright overhead light? As shown before it looks darker here.
  24. The problem is you are saying that our 60 will not have realistic running, but it will. As I said, it will haul whatever the prototype can. The number of driven wheels doesn't equate to realistic running.
