  8. At the end of the day this is a grey area and could swing eitherway... You have your tacho to back you up on speed and time, if they get fussy on what speed you were doing. And Ive seen cops and others carry on through an amber light because it has not been safe to stop safley being on top of the white line etc

  16. I know what you mean about wanting to every thing Sludge, I did the same thing on my first layout. I like mad dogs plan. If you wanted the depot to be the main feature of your plan, you could all ways have the station on the bend to the left and use shorter platforms to make it look like they go longer than you can see. Like on widnes vine yard

    Dave I have just spent nearly 2hrs reading this thread and have enjoyed it very much. I take my hat off to you, I have never seen anyone make his own turnouts and track in this scale before. I love your scenary work too. Love the way the trees hide the exits of the backscene, something else Ive never seen too. Well done fella, Im sure their are alot of people been inspired by this layout Phil

  22. I have the DVD... Its called Toton The Works by locomaster.. Dated in the late 90's when EWS took over and the very 1st class 66 was also on shed. Its a realy good watch.. Hope this helps:D
