    Hi Rob Would it not be better if you stated a thread just for your photo shopped models?. Even the weathering looks photo shopped.

    Why have they bonded the wing rails, on had built track they do not?.

    That a strange photo, as the ones i have show the box on a high brick base. Looking at the box in this old photo, looks like they built the box on top of the base of the old one, if you look at the bricks at the sides they are very much alike.

    This is on the first page, you can still place orders and money will be taken still on worldpay,Due to some of the Cooper Craft, Mailcoach, Kirk & Slater's have been out of stock due to a problem with my machine, it will be best for you to place your order but not pay for it at that time. I can let you know when back in stock before you pay for it. I placed an order as a test and there is noway to order without paying up front.

    I think next year we are going to get some eye watering new prices, not just from Hornby but Bachmann as well. Every time there is a price rise we have a moan about it for a bit, but the models still sell at the new prices and then we try to justify that its such a good model it worth the money. I can see it not going to be long before we see model over £200+ , remember a few years ago on here people say i am not paying over £100.00 for a tank loco, but that did in the end not stop sales.

    The last loco i brought new was the 64xx , Since the price rise nothing.

    Have a look at under floor rolls, you can get in 2mm/3mm/and 4mm in a big roll, lot better than paying for a 1 meter bit C+L sell, got my one which is the same as C+L for £19.99 for a 12 meter roll.

    Yep, Just like the Ivartt tanks, that where around 70-80 pounds, then they stick a new chassis under what is a very old body and now are asking £135.00.

    I have been looking at putting DCC sound in some of my loco, what i would like to know is why are sound chips so costly?, You can easy add £100.00 for sound.

    Last ones from Nine Elms shed, The second Photo my Father told me it started to rain, so he climbed up into the cab to keep dry, while he was in the cab he found some sandwiches tucked into a small locker, which he eat. Only later did he think that he may had eat the Driver/Fireman's lunch. All taken May 1967.
