  1. Hi Ian, hope you are going OK. Really enjoyed the video I must learn how to stitch clips together on my phone. Cheers Peter.
  2. Always good to see pics of the layout Dave, That 37043 is a beast. Sort of wish I hadn't cancelled my order now. Keep them coming Mate. Cheers Peter.
  3. Ha ha I am sure that would have had something ro do with it.
  4. Ha ha thankfully I am at the point where I don't need to much more stock. The only thing I am really short on is ETH class 45s. And a few coaches. I have been running to the timetable recently so here are a few more pics.
  5. Thanks Mate, Hard to believe it's been on here for that long.
  6. Thanks Rob, Its been running quite well considering nothing has moved for about 3 months. Cheers Peter.
  7. A few more trains running last night. Some class 25 action with 25912 working a van train to Bangor. 25059 on the daily speed link trip to Bangor and 25313 with a ballast from carnforth.
  8. Nothing has run on Llanbourne since June. I das have some pics to post up but my phone died. The last few months have been spend working on the 7mm layout . But some warmer weather has prompted me to tidy up and run some trains. 33010 is seen on a morning service to Cardiff. A 101 on a local service to Holyhead.
  9. Thanks Will, plan is to clean the track and get Llanbourne running this week so will get you down for a running session if you want. Cheers peter
  10. I have almost finished the road bridge and have been busy ballasting, and making the hard standing areas around the shed area. Cheers Peter.
  11. Thanks John, it was great to catch up have a good chat and run some trains. It's an excellent layout and those signals are just superb. Maybe Llanbourne will get some working signals one day you've got me thinking. Your welcome down anytime. Cheers peter
  12. Thanks Tim, I might have to get a set of them. Cheers Peter
  13. Thanks, Good to know if I do end up getting one i can have a go at improving it. Thanks for the website too hopefully it's only down temporarily. Cheers Peter.
  14. Great work on the class 37s. It's getting hard to tell which is the Bachmann and which is the Accurascale model. I think they do both look very good I am still not sure about the window frames I am wondering if on the Accurascale model frames can be pushed forwards as it looks like a seperate molding, I wouldn't need to be much just wondering if the recess can be reduced a little bit. I like your depot Sign too who does them please could do with some for Llanbourne. Cheers Peter.
  15. Hi John, Your making great progress the layout is looking fab. I think anything being shunted thats a bit long for the headshunt would shunt out on the Main which I think you said you may well do. Just as long as the limit of shunt is far enough out to give clearance and there is a ground signal by that first point leading into the station. We still used hand signals most of the time in my day but also had walkie talkies. 😁 Cheers Peter.
  16. Yeah good question. I use a lot of Humbrol 26 which gives nice a light brown. probably mixed it with a bit of black light grey. with a touch of bry brushing 26 and some white after. Cheers Peter.
  17. Hi Dave, really enjoyed reading your latest update. Your latest 101 additions look superb. I quite like the west hill magnet couplers I have used a few on my Bachmann MK2s it gives a good close coupling. Cheers Peter.
  18. Thanks, I took a while to get it done but I am happy with how is turned out. Cheers Peter.
  19. No worries Nick, It seems a few of the class 20s that were outbased at Frodingham depot had ploughs fitted 121 and 169 come to mind. I found a pic of 20117 at Toton in June and Warrington in July 91 and no ploughs. My guess would be fitted later in 91 early 92 and it still had them in 95. I would be tempted myself. 😃 Cheers Peter.
  20. I had the chance to set the layout up this weekend. The idea was to test and sort trackwork going into the fiddleyard as I had had some issues with track hight. Between boards. I also wanted to sort out my mock up of the shed as I thought it looked a bit on the large side. It's now a bit smaller and looks better.
  21. Hi Nick, Nice bit of large Logo action. The class 20 looks good too, I remember seeing 20117 a few times back in 92. Some of the last 20s were working around the Barnetby area on steel traffic. Pic below shows 20117 & 20169 at Barnetby on the 8.6.92. Cheers Peter.
  22. It was a pleasure to have you down for the arvo Will. I am glad you liked the layout, i ran quite well apart from me forgeting to change the points a couple of times. I am sure you will be down again, you have some more spraying to do. Cheers Peter.
