  1. This is exactly the setup I use and it all runs along just fine. Check your connection preference and communication port as Crosland suggests; there's no shame in forgetting what goes where.;
  2. Although I'm an avid follower of D299's adventures on the regular, like, it's been giving me the shivers the last few days. We have followed in my granddad's footsteps as he started his career as a collieryman at Pope and Pearson, living across t'street in t'buildings on Pope Street, before moving on to Ponty-Prince and then finally Kellingley. I have vague and flickery memories of Pope Street in the late Seventies and early Eighties. Anyroad. Just interjecting my thanks to all contributors.
  3. Holy heck, I just wanted to say thanks for that one. I can practically smell my childhood coming off it.
  4. Many thanks to those who sent PM's offering assistance, and thanks to Keefer for pointing me to the Limit of Shunt site. There's all kinds of cool stuff on there and I hadn't come across it before.
  5. I did message the gentleman in question through Ebay to ask if he'd be interested in emailing a PDF, for full payment, natch. That's what I'd do! Ah, alas he doesn't deal with transactions "from abroad."
  6. Does anyone have copies of working timetables for the York District (which I think includes Whitby) of the North Eastern Region, say of the early Fifties to early Sixties? If so, do they feel like sharing? There is a chap who sells reproductions on Ebay, I see, he has the York District WTT for the summer of 1953, but he doesn't post to the USA... May thanks in advance.
