  3. Thank you Marc - I'd certainly be interested if it becomes possible. Rod
  4. Marc Is the van in 4mm likely to be repeated? I can't see it on the Shapeways site now. Cheers Rod
  5. I haven't built one but I held one of their kits for an GWR ex-RR A/A1 in my hands last week and it looked like a good kit. I've heard good reports of the way they go together too.
  6. Does this loco have 3mm axles? Anyone ever attempted a conversion to P4?
  7. Posted on behalf of Brian Dotson, Chairman, Welsh Railways Research Circle "I can assure Quarryscapes in Post 2625 that the Welsh Railways Research Circle (WRRC) do not own any of the photographs or negatives of the C.C. Green Collection. Furthermore the WRRC do not sell items on EBay. If Quarryscapes wishes to purchase items from the Welsh Railways Research Circle then he should visit the website at www.wrrc.org.uk It is quite wrong of Quarryscapes to imply that the Welsh Railways Research Circle is a less than trustworthy railway research group. If adequate pre-purchase research had been carried out by Quarryscapes he would have found what I have already stated – no C.C. Green photographs or negatives owned by WRRC & no sales via EBay undertaken. The Welsh Railways Research Circle has been in existence for nearly forty years and to cast doubt on the integrity of this well respected research group, dedicated to collecting and disseminating information about all aspects of the Welsh railways scene, is totally unwarranted. Rather than make these erroneous comments and casting a slur upon the hard work of many over the years, an acknowledgement of an error or an apology would not go amiss. Brian Dotson Chairman Welsh Railways Research Circle"
  8. The Kit-bashing for Welsh Wagons Data Sheet (No2 as Sandy says) is available in the Members' section of the WRRC website. I updated it a few years ago and it now runs to 11 pages - and I'd appreciate any corrections or comments. Cheers Rod
  9. Chris Are you thinking of the Cambrian Large Belpaire Passenger Class, Nos. 94-98 built Stephenson 1904 here? I'm told that the HMRS has a drawing of that loco. Cheers Rod
  10. I was looking at these kits at the WRRC AGM on Saturday and they do look very well produced. I'm down for a Horse Box from the next batch! Cheers Rod
  11. Since the toplights continued in service until the '50s you could add Blood and Custard to the livery menu. Rod
  12. Stop worrying about that and get back to P4
  13. How many of all the others would have to sell before we got somersault signals? Rod
  14. I very interesting development and in my view far more important and deserving of mass attention here than the release of any particular loco. Price is very reasonable too. Rod
