  1. I haven't finalised, exact locations, will be at least 3 aspect with route indication and calling on with some shunt signals
  2. Here is my layout plan, I would like to add block detction to add some sort of automation, also I would like to set a route including signals then when the train passes the signal it returns to red then in the case of an exit signal at the fiddle yard entrance on the left side of the plan, the signal would then change as an automatic signal would, I am OO gauge with an ECoS controling the layout right now, The Points are IP digital and any signals would be Absolute Aspects, I plan to use ITrain, so the question is what detction would you suggest? the right hand of the plan is the station, (part off scene) there is a depot in the middle, and the spur on the Left is an old branch now used for turning back some DMU services, and a Branch line also accessing the Fiddle yard. Stock is early sectorisation/ BR Blue, also what Accessory decoders would be a good idea? Thanks Phil
  3. I paid off my class 89 with partial.ly in November, bur it is still not showing as paid on the website? ACC- 33645 is my order number
  4. Reprogrammed mine using Esu, found it had set to 1, now works fine 🙂, might look at a few more thanks to anyone who helped
  5. Samsung Galaxy S10, with android version 12 Phil
  6. Will have a look, when I get chance, I did try to program with JMRI, But didn't work, will try again, Thanks
  7. What am I doing wrong? Just bought the 21 pin Bluetooth decoder, set it up with sounds for my loco, switched it to DCC and get no response from the loco? Using ESU cab control? Thanks Phil
  8. You should have received it today Thanks
  9. @charliepettyI have done something similar with one I purchased from you in March at Preston show, is there anything that can be done? Phil
  10. Was only running 2 maybe 3 locos at any time, so I don't think so, I have found the DR5000 problematic at times on this and my last layout, so I think a replacement is due anyway
  11. Thanks, I have a power cab, but lost a screw to attach the bus wire, I have wondered if my problems could be caused by me, it is my first roundy, and it completes a circuit can this be a problem? Phil
  12. I have a roundy layout under construction and during testing I have found a few issues, I currently use a DR5000 with Z21 app, I switched it on recently and there was a short somewhere, I couldn't find anywhere it would short and nothing has changes from the last time it operated well, when I tried again I noticed one of my sound fitted engines clicked and the power went off again, I took that engine off and tried again and everything was fine! I placed the offending engine back on the rails and again no problem After a point problem caused an actual short, again when I turned it on a different engine clicked and the power went off! I took it off and got trains running again, then placed it back on the rails, Later a black 5 factory fitted sound was running through the fiddle yard and let out a "pop" noise then the sound stopped but the train kept going with accompanying burning smell? At my wits end with this, is it the DR5000, That I am thinking of replacing or something in my wiring? Each thing that happened was in the fiddle yard when it happened on a different line, Can anyone help?
  13. It's out this weekend at https://www.britishmotormuseum.co.uk/whats-on/great-british-model-railway-show
  14. Not in the road but used as fence posts North Berwick last week
  15. Some 158/156 hybrids did run in the northwest due to track circuits, don't think it lasted long as I recall
  16. When the bottom left bit was authorised by planning I thought I could fit more in but again unless I ran a fan of points direct from the main line and ended up with 3 short sidings with no space for a protecting signal, and the planning authorities wanted an area of scenery to build her self, hence the turnback siding.
  17. The two dead end sidings are for units off the Branch, the two through sidings above will be light engine movements etc, I have ground the 6.5 foot width restrictive, but I am happy with what I have at the moment, will see what actually happens when track is layer though
  18. I am reasonably happy with the plan, only locos will be going onto the depot from a Yard/ sidings nearby, using the line next to platform 3, the two dead end sidings will be units from the branch service, only platform 3 will be Bi Directional, and I have removed 2 sidings from the fiddle yardand spread out the sidings a bit.
  19. Only using middle for "fiddling", operation will be by tablet on outside, depot will just be locos, inner line at station is not a platform, but a run round/depot entrance
  20. That is right for platforms, yes that is the best given space I have altered the red bit since, I do want space for most of my stock in fiddle yard main lines at right disappear just after junctions, the branch to FY a bit further round
  21. Sorry based late 80s-early 90s, the idea is not to run branch trains through but to leave options open If I want to, Yes 6" squares, peco code 75 track
  22. This is the current plan for my next project, I intend a double track Electrified main line, the bottom of the screen is a station with 3 platforms in use, the top line is access to the Depot and possible runround for platform 3, the line bottom right goes to my work bench, and the single line top left is a small station " town Branch", 00 gauge with a branch leaving to the fiddle yard, Any input or critique is welcome, the blacklines are board edges/ joins Phil
  23. Could the Carriage sidings be accessed from the station without reversing?
