      2mm lattice signals? With my eyesight I doubt if I could even find them on my bench if someone pointed them out.. You'd probably find a few traces of brass amongst the puddles of solder if I tried though...

  7. Gutted. Just had to make "that" decision at the vets. My poor moggie had a large tumor in his shoulder that was in his bones as well. RIP Chester the cat. And yes there were tears.

      Very sad but the right decision for Chester's quality of life - we had one of ours operated on twice to remove tumours that came back and wished we'd let her go the first time.

  11. after 3 weeks of constant coughing and dizziness realises it's maybe time to have a few days off sick. I'll be mourning the loss of a 12 hour Sunday night shift though...

      Doc said left lung quite noisy, right one not so bad. Oxy test showed 99% and I'm now on much stronger A/Bs as he's pretty sure its bacterial rather than a virus. Chest X-ray booked on Monday too. Must be feeling a little better as I'm contemplating some modelling tonight...

  20. Quick update rgarding 56113 and it's train, 6M54 yesterday. Declared failed at Gresford 2319, assisted clear of the single line 0635 the following morning. Can't understand it, surely there must have been a spare pannier tank or something on shed at Croes Newydd.....

  22. 4 days in with the Statins break. Less muscle/joint pains, sleeping better, less lifeless. Even feeling a bit stronger. They can't be that bad surely?
