      did you know Vodaphone made steam locos too? when they started about 20 years ago they were known as Hawthorne Leslie Communications, later changing their name to Vodaphone! and the people who empty the "sanitary towel units" used to run trams? they are owned by BET, British Electric Traction!

  7. Having a rough evening at the workbench tonight, MP3 player keeping me going with some good tunes. Just about to lose it with some electronic bits and chuck them across the room when "Horizons" by Genesis comes on the MP3, a tune that's always made me stop and enjoy the moment ...1minute 41seconds later all is calm and I'm chilled out again. The power of music eh?

  11. has just purchased a 1:18 scale P51 mustang from a pub that's closing down on the IOW.

  12. is recovering after the IOW beer and buses weekend. Plenty of hellfire vintage bus thrash, top pubs and probably way too much excellent cask ale.

  19. After finishing my 7th and final nightshift this week, is contemplating the prospect of an ale for breakfast.

  20. wants to copy and paste a few hours into the day between getting up after nightshift and going back in to work again. There always seems to be too much modelling left over after the free time runs out.

      It's a 12 hour Sunday, way too expensive to give up as I don't get paid for it if I give it up. Any weekday or saturday turn, paid leave or sick pay...wouldn't give it a 2nd thought!!
