  8. Facebook? Wastebook more like. Resisted the temptation to join for years then stupidly gave in 4 days ago. 4 days later and I've got my password wrong and I'm locked out and they want my life story emailed to them to log back in. Not happening. I should have stayed away from it!

  14. Finally got my Royal Republic CD back from daughter. Was on the way to work playing it way too loud in the car!. Had to hit the pause button as there was a TVR in front I had to listen to. Music inside/music outside...nice..

      I had a 4.3 Chimera as a toy a few years back. had a few small electrical issues and flogged it on for an E39 540, which was just as quick!!! I never had any mechanical issues with it but the Rover/Buick engine was a belting unit if built right!!! Had to Google Royal Republic, Sorry John!!!!! ;)

  15. Finally got round to using my resistance soldering iron. Starting gently with a few small laminations...all OK so far..

  16. finishing another 12 hour shift then off till next wednesday. Time to start catching up on the embarassingly large backlog of signal orders....

  18. Four 12 hour day shifts have put a crimp in my modelling motivation. Off for next 4 days from tomorrow now so it'll be time to warm up both the soldering iron and the coffee machine! Loads to catch up with!!!!

  22. Gotcha! Large stray tomcat that we called "Puss in Boots" thats been annoying our housebound cats is now a little lighter. He's now called Marion.....

  24. Gutted. Just had to make "that" decision at the vets. My poor moggie had a large tumor in his shoulder that was in his bones as well. RIP Chester the cat. And yes there were tears.

      Very sad but the right decision for Chester's quality of life - we had one of ours operated on twice to remove tumours that came back and wished we'd let her go the first time.

      Thanks All. He was our last pet (down from 3 cats and a dog) so it was more of a wrench. All gone over the last 4 years..
