  2. Having "The Specials" live at Maida Vale studios playing loudly on 6 music in my modelling room actually increased my workrate. Couldn't keep still though! Top band, top gig. You can't beat a nice bit of Ska for keeping the spirits up!

  3. Having a rough evening at the workbench tonight, MP3 player keeping me going with some good tunes. Just about to lose it with some electronic bits and chuck them across the room when "Horizons" by Genesis comes on the MP3, a tune that's always made me stop and enjoy the moment ...1minute 41seconds later all is calm and I'm chilled out again. The power of music eh?

Humbrol does appear to have deteriorated since Hornby acquired the company. Havig used it since 1962, I notice the difference.

2mm lattice signals? With my eyesight I doubt if I could even find them on my bench if someone pointed them out.. You'd probably find a few traces of brass amongst the puddles of solder if I tried though...

A combination of 175's breaking and a missing loco and stock. Oh and getting another couple of 175's on different services so theye'd end up at Chester to have the drivers seat warmed or something...
