  1. Good evening all. I'm backdating a well tank to 1924 condition. Livery is unlined goods Green and I'm working from photos in Bradley's Beattie locomotives. I've made a new front buffer beam but as the photos are black and white I would like to know was the Red only applied to the front of the beam or did it also cover the top and sides of the beam ? I would be very grateful for any advice/information on this.
  2. Yes it definitely didn't have them in 95 but 795 carried Intercity livery untill the late 90's I've seen photos of Anglia railways class 08's in the late 90's and they've got the chevrons on the compressor boxes and fuel tanks so wanted to know if Landore painted them on 795 while still in Intercity livery.
  3. Hi Nick G. Yes I've seen that photo on Flickr but unfortunately it's a side on photo and I really need to seen a front on photo to see if the forward facing ends of the fuel tanks and side cabinets wore black and yellow chevrons
  4. Good evening all. I'm looking for information on 08795 while owned by Great Western. Would anyone know when it carried Intercity livery were the fuel tanks and side cabinets sides painted with black and yellow chevrons ? Also could anyone confirm when it lost its Intercity livery and repainted in Great Western livery. I'm modelling the loco in the 1998 - 2000 period. Many thanks for any information
  5. I should have my Southern Green Terrier tomorrow. It looks a stunning model but i am disappointed that Dapol have left the condensing pipes off as this is a big error. I am hopeful that the condensing pipes are included in the accessory bag.
  6. Hi All. Ive only just seen this thread. I have only just started using Railtec transfers and must say excellent service from Steve. I have placed Three orders so far and the first Two were for transfers that they didnt produce but Steve was more than happy to help me out. I have nothing but praise for steve and will be ordering all my transfers with him from now on

  13. Hi Kev,

thanks for looking at my blog. I appreciate your comments. There are actually two 02s being scrapped..one unitentified and the other going to the torch is Chale..very sad indeed.

I was thinking of converting the black terrier to 'Newport' but I am now intregued by the wartime livery idea..I know nothing about 'sunshine decals' though..I would love to know more,...
