  1. has had a clean bill of health from the dentist woohoo!

  2. More pics of that 37 please.B)
  3. C'mon Grimley, what's keeping you? A modeller of your expertise should have it all ready by now together with Trent Junction and Ratcliffe Power Station (and everything in between) all at 1:76 [tongue in cheek emoticon]. And as for those squeeky clean Railfreight beasts - about time they had the Grimley works treatment [no pressure emoticon] Hope all is well mate! At least Newcastle United will have a good weekend... [ultra sarcastic emoticon]
  4. Cheers fella. Arsenal will bounce back from that no doubt whatsoever especially when key players return. Bolton next for us. They're on reasonable form so will be another tough test for us.
  5. So why am I happy then boys and girls? :D B) Not the best Baggies performance in the Premier League but certainly the best result for us in the top flight since the days of Regis et al. Arsenal gave us a bit of a hand but you've still got to get it in the back of the net...
  6. If only my old man was still alive - he would have loved one of these! He was fanatical about Deltics (and Peaks, and EM1s.....). Stunning loco - may have to purchase one of these and relegate the OO Gauge Bachmann model that is in t'loft for my little un's trainset, when he's old enough! Nice work Brian on bringing this one to life.
  7. is awaiting for some Peco track to arrive!

  8. Sir, this layout is a cracker. You deserve huge credit and respect for your attention to detail and patient finishing touches. For me, the trackwork is the absolute winner, and everything else falls wonderfully into place on and around it.
  9. About time we brought this thread alive. I've already ranted on 606 about my feelings of seeing my team get spanked by Chelsea. My vocabulary at this present time is way too 'gritty' for RMWeb... C'mon then Blackpool fans. Give us some of your vibes!!!
  10. Bingo... http://davidlacy.fot.../p62307482.html I looked previously as I have 062. Congrats on POTW! AA
  11. Indeed it does... Certainly looks an easily modellable train (the 12 wagon portion anyway!). I presume you will mostly utilise Hornby's MGR's? Will some Bachmann HEA's and even some 16 tonners for earlier running periods make an appearance?
  12. Who says MGR Coal trains have to be long eh? Pair of Choppers on 12 loaded inc one with canopy. I wonder why that one was so short? Was it typical? Cheers
  13. Looking good! Will be keeping an eye on this one... Alex
  14. Kevin, that is a cracker. All that spoon needs is a plume of clag!
  15. More good work Leon. Have you got many interviews lined up?
  16. Proper job there Grimley. Those choppers look far too clean though. Will the depot feature just loco's or will you be running wagons and units into the shed for maintenance as well?
  17. Hi Leon I have started a small plank of a layout. It will be based in North Wales, beyond Ffestiniog on the Trawsfynnyd line majoring on the late 80's and early 90's. 'Bangers' and 'Nukes' will be the general traffic with some very limited passenger operations. I have started a layout thread http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php/topic/15496-wandering-down-the-conwy-valley/page__p__144536__hl__conwy__fromsearch__1&?do=findComment&comment=144536 but no photos as yet. Once I get the track down I will put some images up. I'm going halfs with a chap from the forum for the Slug twin pack. I already have 37901 in original railfreight which was prepared for me by Bishopstoke Works. I'm having 905 to compliment it but I suspect that I wouldn't get away with both niner's in the Conwy Valley! Cheers
  18. Jeez, this is immense. Great effort.
  19. Leon, this looks fab. really does give you the down and dirty industrial feel. The scale of the buildings and the generous spacing between the sidings/track all serve to set the scene here. A Slug with a metals train would look the part here!
  20. Ah, sorry 40122 will do nicely...and I'll wait for the Stoke instead as the Peak's failure was nothing more than a hoax!!!
  21. I'll have the peak to fail and 40106 to come to the rescue with plenty of wheelslip as she tugs the whole consist out! Great scenarios Peter!

    BALVENIE

Nice layout Hugh. Simple and effective.
  23. Totally deserved Natalie. Spurs emphasis is on the team rather than the individuals. Man City are the opposite at the moment but if they stabilise (keep Mancini and the squad intact plus enhancements) they will be a threat next season. As for Spurs, well I think this is the birth of the 'big five' (or 'big 6'six' if City do improve on this season). Agree that Crouch has to be on that plane to South Africa but Defoe has not done himself justice lately. All I can say is that its a good job for him that he does not have much competition!
