  1. Very thankful not to be working in 4mm! But also a little bit envious too.

  2. Wondering if the ERG members will be making cardboard rolling stock?

    1. Claude_Dreyfus

      Claude_Dreyfus

Will they be using a plotter cutter?

    2. Mallard60022

      Mallard60022

They could use a Cardboard Cutout as that would perform more satisfactorily :)

      Chris Higgs

I think that would be a little too modern for some of them.

  3. No wonder the railways are in a state if Charles Hawtrey is in charge!

Yes but catching the gorillas is so exhausting.

    3. Hroth

      Hroth

Catching the gorillas is easy, they usually turn up to poke fun at your duff joints. Its feeding them into a blender to make the glue thats the faff.

    4. Horsetan

      Horsetan

Gorillas in a blender sounds like something out of "Fargo".

  5. 95mm radius? No problem, just whip off the centre flanges.

    1. Skinnylinny

      Skinnylinny

That worked for me to get a Farish pannier tank around 105mm radius curves. Good luck!

  6. It's fair to expect a bit of a markup on imports from UK retailers but 66% over the market price? Really? Even with the Royal Mail fees & VAT, it's still going to be cheaper to import personally.. :-/

  7. It's a little known fact that the Morris Minor was originally going to be named the Morris Minories.

  9. Yet another failure on the lines out of Waterloo today. Feeling like it's a very flaky system.

Waterloo needs a good Flushing: The NS always did know how to run trains better... ;-)

      Hroth

Ideal for the cakebox challenge, a platform end with a swarm of hi-vis jackets clustered around some defective track....

  11. I have an idea - let's make apostrophes chargeable. Then there would be some incentive to get them right and not slam one in everytime a word ends with an S

    3. sharris

      sharris

Apparently it's also used in some bra underwiring. Does that make it mammary wire?

It should run most days, though it usually has more than one wagon. ;)

  17. I heard the announcer on BBC4 say that after Trainspotting, they would be showing "The Tit-filled Thunderbolt". Quite disappointed. I was looking forward to a revealing documentary about the Leave campaign's battle-bus.
