    Email received on Thursday from Derails. As per our last update to you way back at the beginning of March, Hornby were previously anticipating a May release of the R3810 packs. Unfortunately we have been notified that there is a slight delay (which is totally understandable given the current circumstances) and that these packs are now due in June. We'll keep you updated if we receive any further revisions to this date, or if we get a more exact date on their arrival.

    I had a phone call from them yesterday explain g to me my Hornby Peckett was being shipped and that to make sure I got it before Christmas they upgraded from 1st class post to carrier at no extra charge. I have dealt with them in the past and always found them prompt and a pleasure to deal with, even refunding when I paid more postage than I needed too. One very satisfied customer.

      I know one year Berkshire County Council decided to resurface the road past the venue for the much-missed Knowl Hill rally on the weekend of the event. As they were planning just to leave the chippings lying in the tar for the traffic to press in, the steam roller owners at the rally offered to do it for them as a demonstration!
