Agreed! I certainly had no time to cause mayhem as a teen- left school in the July aged 16 and was working 2 months later on the ECML 125mph on Sept 11th 1989. Deepest condolences to all involved in the mayhem that was caused this weekend!!!!!!

Later Marganese crossings had no fittings so we had to use a pin brazer gun with plug in 'bullets' to attach flexible copper braided bonds! An awful job as the braze often failed/burnt out or destroyed the end of the brazer gun.

Whilst exhibiting with Charwelton in Derby over the weekend we visited The Alexander near the station (class 37 cab outside). The inside is just as impressive-
