Hi Mikkel,
I've really enjoyed reading your post and watching your videos! Such a clever idea: I really like it.
The scene just looks beautiful.

Very nice work, Andrew. The B4 is a favorite 0-4-0t of mine.
Kind regards,

Beautiful work! I watched the videos before I saw this; no wonder it runs like a Swiss watch!

The lighting is just charming! I really like the view looking down the platform; it just looks like an early evening scene.

Cheers, Nick.
I'm very impressed with the Finetrax range. I think the main thing is that the filing jig is very well designed, taking all the guesswork
out of the equation.
There are things I'd do differently a second time, but that comes with experience, Rather than build each point as a unit, which meant
a lot of unnecessary rail breaks, I should have thought carefully about where the points could be built as pairs or with lead-ins to
adjacent track. I'm sure with your P4 experience this is second nature, but it's new to me! Anyway, I'm pleased with the results
and by all means direct your friend to ask any questions I might be able to help with.
Thanks Al. I've sent him a link and will point him in your direction! He is quite a dabbler really, creating his own DCC system and all sorts of complicated stuff - what do you expect for a network manager!?

Hi Al,
I do remember your horrid experience now you mention it. There is a lot to be said for small layouts and ones own transport. Rental companies are either fine or awful in my experience - no mid ground at all.
The new 56xx does look nice. I do hope someone, or Dapol, produce an improved 14xx and 45/4575 locomotive. For the space-starved modeller, small GWR BLTs are perfect.
All the best,
Nick.

Looks really good, Al.
I've sent a good (non-RMWeb) modelling friend a link to your blog, as Richard is thinking of going down this route track wise for his N gauge layout.
All the best,
Nick.

I'm looking forward to seeing you progress, Al. I always liked the original 4mm version of Paynestown and enjoyed watching it at one of the RMWeb events years ago.
All the best,
Nick.

It is a very unusual, but very interesting track plan. Is it a through station?
Best wishes and kind regards,
Nick...

It has certainly progressed further since Rod, John, Brian and my last visit: well done gents. The topography looks very convincing; as does the ‘look’ of the station.
I look forward to future updates!
kind regards,
Nick

Could almost be a recreation of a naming ceremony!
Bye bye for now...
