Hi all, the name is Gary Hinson, I am an industrial electrical engineer, but can get my head round the nuts and bolts as well and have worked for the same company for 45 years. I have been producing models for 50 years and have modeled in N to 0 gauge and a bit of 16mm. When i am not down the cellar working on “Glenuig”or up the loft playing with “Over Haddon” i can be found messing around with full size diesels as a long serving working member of the Class Forty Appeal.

The name sixteen 12by 10s is a play on the cylinder size of an English Electric 16SVT (sixteen cylinders with a 10” bore and 12” stroke)

Other activities are photography and classic cars, i own a 1968 AH sprite, i am also known on the airways as M0IUQ

I do not support any particular footy teem, but have the misfortune of been born in West Bromwich!!
