  1. That looks like Wellingborough. If so is it available in 4mm scale? I remember as a teenager looking around it when it was in this condition. Cheers, Mark
  2. Good to see the little orange people in their rightful place Pete. I believe a driver and relief shunter will soon be on their way. Sounds like Wenford was well received and has captured the essence of the setting nicely. I would agree with Andrew. We certainly need more china clay layouts in this world and glad to hear of more 2mmFS Cornish goings on. There's one for my varifocals... Cheers, Mark
  3. Cambus o'May Station always looks fascinating in between Aboyne and Ballater.
  4. Wonderful modelling. Now home of the Spider on a Bicycle Cafe. Well worth a visit...
  5. When I was up in Aboyne a month ago having cycled from Ballater, the Huntly Hotel was being either refurbished or repurposed. Very nicely done and certainly captures the look of the real building. Cheers, Mark
  6. Hi, Would anyone have any Hornby GWR/BR Hawksworth square shanked coach buffer(s) going spare? I have a Hornby (R4409) BR Hawksworth Full Brake which has a missing a buffer. Please PM me if you can help. Cheers, Mark
  7. Thanks for the heads up CK. Looks like a cracking little show with some very good layouts. Shame I'm not in the vicinity that weekend. I would have loved to have gone. Hope the show goes well and becomes a regular fixture on the calendar. Cheers, Mark PS: I would agree about the Church House Inn as well..
  8. That's certainly brought it to life and given it a more work a day appearance. I was up at TMC this afternoon. In the workshop there were a fair few of these weathered and ready to be sent to their owners. Cheers, Mark
  9. I was going to model 78016 but changed my mind to 78026 for ease of re-numbering. I always find '1's' in the number harder to centre due to not being even. They were a filthy pair no doubt!.. Cheers, Mark
  10. But what we need to know is did one make it to Kernow Towers? Or are we waiting for one of the green versions due shortly? I believe 78006 would be a good Gloucester engine if I am not mistaken? Or 78001 as well I believe. My model of 78047 is due to become 78026 of 67E/Dumfries this weekend. Reports of no bling on the Port Road lines are confirmed except on high days and holidays! Cheers, Mark
  11. Hi Matt, Brilliant service and three sets of door bangers have arrived along with two BR 21T Mineral Wagon kits. All beautifully moulded and packaged. Looking forwards to getting building the wagon and finishing off a couple of kits requiring door bangers this stormy weekend. Cheers, Mark
  12. I have just spoken to the Peco Technical Help Desk. If it is of any help, Peco can supply the transfer sets produced by Modelmaster for their Parkside wagon kits separately apparently. Orders through the Help Desk on: 01297 626204 Cheers, Mark * Also H&A Models have a good selection available still.
  13. A bit like others, I have also fallen foul of Modelmaster and their poor customer service or lack of service. I placed an order in January 2023 for some wagon transfers. The phone line is dead and emails not answered. Previously my experience with Jim has been good if perhaps sporadic at times. Some of the transfers such as London Transport wagons are not available from other sources. Sometimes you can pick up odd sets from shows, retailers and on-line. Thankfully the likes of Railtec, CCT, Precision and Fox provide excellent service and products. One thing that does interest me is Peco use Modelmaster transfers in their Parkside range of wagon kits. Does this mean Jim is still producing sets for their kits? The previous thread addressed these issues so perhaps not start another thread. Cheers, Mark

    Kyle - St Neots

Thanks Pete, It was a brilliant show and good to catch up with you and other peeps. First time I'd seen Kylie in the flesh so to speak. Brilliant design and easy to operate. It captures the essence of Kyle nicely. Looking forwards to the proposed 7mm version eventually. Cheers, Mark *Agreed. Varifocal glasses and 2mmFS is the work of the devil..😉
  15. Thanks Matt A brilliant idea and really useful. Those door bangers will certainly speed up production on the workbench. Three pairs duly ordered. Cheers, Mark
  16. The GWR square shanked buffers on the Syphon G's are very nicely done. It would be good to have these made available as spare parts for upgrading older models. Cheers, Mark
  17. That needs to be in TTG with Transrail logos with its nameplates and BZ depot plaques 😉 I saw this 37 at Aviemore a few weeks ago. Thankfully in better condition. I would imagine the BZ 37/6's would be very popular if Accurascale announced them. Cheers, Mark
