Cheers Chris unfortunately severe epilepsy has stopped me from doing what I've always wanted to do. Have fell quite a few times out in the garage while building and nearly set fire to the place with soldering irons etc so it all has to go.

Unfortunately due to ill health, I've had to give up on the idea of building a layout. I'm selling off what locos and things I have. Is there somewhere on the forum I can list them. Absolutely gutted but family and health come first. Neil

Hi I just bought a blue box f7A and when servicing i snapped the bottom gear box clip covering the 2 axles in four. On inspection the previous owner had glued the bottom gear clip at either end presumably to keep it on. Would anyone have a spare lying in their parts box i could buy from them? I would appreciate any help you can give. Neil

I want to replace all the old bulbs with LEDs in all of my Athearn blue box locos. They've all been DCC converted and I originally bought prewired 12v LEDs and resistors from evil bay which didn't work. What do I need to get in order to make them light correctly.

What confused me was I watched several YouTube videos on how to convert. The grey wire was soldered to the clip underneath and isolated with electrical tape from the frame. I assumed the bottom clip had to stay to hold the brush and spring in place

I thought the bottom clip had to stay as the grey wire is usually soldered to it and it holds the brush & spring in place. Sorry for the questions.

Is the Mashima a direct replacement without any modifications. And is the performance a lot better?

I need the clips to do a DCC conversion. Grey and orange wire has to be soldered to them unless there's another way to do it.

Would anyone have 2 motor clips for a blue box sw1500 switcher lying around. I was given the loco but it has a motor but no clips and they are like hen's teeth.

I was service an Athearn blue box loco when disaster struck. I took an epileptic seizure and a part dropped on the floor and is now lost. The part is a 7/8 spline part number 34025. Would anyone have one lying around in a parts box or know anywhere in the UK I can buy the part. I'd appreciate any help.
