Gresley's grimy goods tank enters Boleyn Road. J50 68791 was a Hornsey loco for most of its BR life so, in my mind, it is visiting Boleyn Road as it’s been drafted in to work in Goodmayes Yard.

Thank you! It’s a RTR Oxford J27 essentially straight from the box - I know it’s not perfect and can be improved a bit more by some with more skill and knowledge of the prototype. It weathers up very nicely though!

"I can't believe it's bloody back again" Fitter Fred can't believe diesel dinosaur 10800, 'The Wonder Engine', has returned for more yet repairs

A tired and weary J27, No. 65837, trundles over the track - amazing to think that some of these locos lasted in service until 1967! Another weathering jobs from last year, mainly using Lifecolor acrylics and AK-Interactive washes!

A job well done. 70038 Robin Hood has been polished up by Clive, the Modelu cleaner, ready for its next express run.

Some excited school boys revel in the appearance of Sulzer Type 2 D5135 (later Class 24) at Boleyn Road. Unusual in this part of London, they race to tick it off their Ian Allan spotting books

The fireman of B1, No. 61373, trudges along by the tracks with head lamps for their scheduled departure from shed

A fitter raises his attention from his sandwich to ex-LNER O1 63746 leaving the workshop. The lamp he fitted to its front earlier seems to have gone walkabouts...

You can almost hear the sleepers groan as grimy O2 63954 manoeuvres over the point work. The photographer appears to have caught the eye of the Modelu fireman on the footplate
