Hi, Sorry again. I was trying to figure out how to put pictures up last night. It's a freelance HO layout, DCC Lenz system, single track, dogbone. I had a large British layout but it just wasn't floating my boat anymore. I took down over last summer. I started work on the current layout September 1st 2018, this is as far as I got. I am working on scenery at the moment. I would have liked to model Union Pacific but due to a very small selection of American stock in Ireland, I had to model with what I could get. I've been buying stock from Germany and used, buying from America is just too expensive. Look forward to any feedback bad or good, I'm not an expert, I just like to watch trains go by. regards Bren

hi here's what I have been working on since October

Hi big T, I used Heki summer meadows grass but before that I covered the whole area in pva glue and sawdust, when dry I painted it green put the pva on and put the Heki grass on that. It's not the most realistic but it looks nice. I'm into the model look rather than a realistic look. In saying that I wouldn't say no to Peterborough North or Gresley Beat, or what Ron Heggs is doing with Manchester Central it's fantastic. regards Bren

I found a few more pictures of my old layout, the current layout I haven't done anything to in over a year. I've been doing a lot of scratch building, including bridges, station buildings,1/12 scale Sante Fe and I'm currently working on a large scale Millenium Falcon. Looking at the list I just realised how sad I've become.....I appreciate all your kind comments and thank you for a warm welcome. If I'm doing anything railway related i'll post pics. regards Bren

Hi Jamiel I scratch built all the buildings and kit bashed 3 metcalfe signal cabins. I hope to replace the buildings at some stage with more detailed ones. I've scratch built a lot of bridges and i'm currently working on a model of Kingsbridge/ Hueston Station Dublin, I also scratch built the Sante Fe that's in the American section of this site.
