  1. Thanks for your help Norman :-)
  2. Hi there, I'm about to order a DCC sound fitted Dapol 0 gauge Sentinel locomotive, and would very much like to fir it with a stay alive unit. My question is if anyone might have a foto and/or a guide as to where the stay alive is to be soldered to the DCC chip, and also the recomended capacity for the stay alive? I assume that there is plenty of space for the stay alive in the coal bunker? Thanks for any help - Best regards from Denmark
  3. Thanks for your help and advice Woodyfox and Dave. Cheers Peter
  4. Hi guys, Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm in the process of planning a tiny 0 gauge layout - and need to know the length of a Markway 72" 3 way point. Can someone please help? Best regards from Denmark
  5. Thank you very much for your advice Mr. Brassey - I will give it a go Best regards - Peter
  6. Hi guys, I'm looking for some help please. At the moment I'm working on a scratch built platform for my 4mm scale GWR station that is under construction. The layout is purely fictional, and is set in Somerset in the mid 1940's. So far I've cut some 19 mm MDF to size and created a ramp at each end. I have glued plasticard dressed stone strips to the sides of the platform. I plan to make an edge on the top surface of the platform to represent paving slabs (on the side that is to face the track. I would like to hear your opinions as to what surface you may recommend for the platform. At the moment I'm considering fine gravel, but I'm not convinced that gravel is prototypically correct. Any help is much appreciated. Happy modelling - and please take care in this virus crisis
  7. Thanks for the link to the floorplan I've been studying the drawings and would like to hear everyone's opinion ... be wrong to assert that measurement between the outer corners of room B and F would be approx. 25 feet? Best regards
  8. I wonder ... is there anyone here that can provide scale or approximate drawings of the outside of Fawlty Towers, aka Wooburn Grange Country Club. I understand that the building burnt down in 1991, however I'de love to make a model of the hotel, as i think it would make a nice/funny scene on my 1940's GWR model railway that is in the building ... Happy modelling everyone Best regards Peter
  9. I agree 16 12x10s ... Strange that Christmas, the danish feast of hearts, often requires strength courage and luck to get thru.
