Assuming you're using drawer-runners, try loosening the securing screws half a turn each.

    3. cromptonnut

      cromptonnut

I saw a traverser without runners at the weekend, just sliding and it worked fine. No runners. Mine doesn't work.

at the moment it's no layout at all... but think the shed deserves its own thread, doesn't really fit in wheeltappers as it is model related but it's not a layout either...

Which platform was it at to do that ? Usually they use 2 and it’s usually well up the exit end of the platform out of any sensors way.

    3. DCB

      DCB

Not Rocket science to have the loco as far up the platform as possible to avoid smoke.

    4. Metr0Land

      Metr0Land

Err this was on the return TO Victoria? Parking the loco beyond the canopy would have left customers walking on 3rd rail!

  18. It was a long hard fought battle, but with the help of my wife and a crowbar the old shed is no more... just need to get the remains to the yard down the road to chuck it on a bommy. Shed's score: 4 cuts, 1 plaster.

  22. Took the mrs 4 hours to get home from Waterloo for what should be a 70 minute journey. She was not impressed. Lineside fire outside Waterloo this morning has knocked out platforms 1-9 and its utter chaos.

    1. Horsetan

      Horsetan

Cold air will have fed that fire really well, too.

  23. Waiting to see if the Flying Banana runs on time as it should be passing me in about 30 minutes

Agree, it's just common courtesy. I guess it's what happens when you are no longer a 'valued employee' but simply a 'human resource' that can be replaced like an obsolete piece of equipment

I asked an employer local to me if he had any job vacancies and he said "well I did have, but there were over 300 applicants, so I dumped over 200 straight in the bin without looking at them" I think it's depressing these days, with too many employers paying minimum wage, even o

      n Sundays !
