Vacuum leak fixed with new o rings on the injector seats. The Beast lives to roll again... until the next problem.

Ordered five injector o rings from the dealership. Went to collect to find they had instead ordered a single injector resealing kit. Methinks the man on the phone was not paying attention.

Managed to lose one stone. Very happy. I can't believe just how hard it is to lose weight in middle age.

Back onl;ine after major computer fubar incident. I hate reinstalling windows. Only lost a small amount of replaceable data though, which was good.

Waiting for the buyer's remorse - just bought several Hornby locomotives from Liverpool.

My new job involves taking OB lorries to and from studios and locations. Some very old motors - not seen a Leyland Freighter or Seddon Atkinson on the road in quite some time, much less driven them. Seddons are still as rubbish as I remember them from 20 years ago.

Choking in dust after cleaning 'Grove street' for its outing to Ruddington this weekend. It has colour back!

Back in the shed and feeling happier. Got the hotel booked for the Ruddington show, and contemplating getting some trains back out.

Bah! Lost my purse in Bristol. It has been found, but getting it back to Manchester is proving long winded.

just cleanerd up my found rail chair with a wire drill bit attachment. The chair was made for the LNER in 1927 and now has a coat of red oxide primer on it.

I found a rail fixing chair in what was once Godley Junction goods yard (now part of Kerry Foods' factory) and brought it home, just because.
